CNC Services — FAQs
What’s your maximum sheet size?
We cut up to 2440 × 1220 mm (standard full sheet). Larger jobs may be possible by arrangement.
Which materials can you cut?
MDF, plywood and solid timber are our core materials. We also cut plastics such as acrylic and ACM. Send us your details and we’ll confirm suitability.
Do you supply materials or do I need to bring them?
Both options are available. You can supply your own sheets, or we stock a variety or can source MDF, plywood, acrylic and ACM.
What file formats do you accept?
Vector files such as DXF, DWG, AI and SVG are ideal. If you only have a sketch or PDF, we can help convert it to the right format.
What tolerances do you work to?
For wood-based materials, expect ±0.2 depending on the material and tool size.
How fast is turnaround?
Most small jobs are completed in 2–5 working days once files are approved and materials confirmed. We can express cut if there is a time crunch. Let us know your deadline and we’ll advise the earliest available slot.
Do you do one-offs as well as production runs?
Yes — from a single prototype/one off jobs through to small batches or full sheet runs, we can help.
Can you make wedding signage?
Yes — we cut custom acrylic and wooden wedding signs, lettering, welcome boards and table numbers. Send us your design or ideas and we’ll help create the perfect pieces for your day.
Can you ship outside Christchurch?
Absolutely. We’re Christchurch-based but serve customers NZ-wide, with careful packing and nationwide courier delivery.
